Okay, time for a real post. Umm, let’s see. Monday was chemistry class; we “tried” to make long lasting bubbles (not the flaming ones). After that I went to a surprise birthday party for a friend, we had pizza then we played basketball for a several hours.
I hadn’t touched a basketball (at least not with the intention of playing) in months. It was amazing; I still had the touch, I swooshed three threes in a row. My jumping needs some work though, I could only dunk on a nine or nine and a half ft. goal.
After that Mrs. M. took us home and visited with my mom for a little while. While they were talking I thought it was a good time to show my friends our swing. While we were walking over there my neighbor’s pit bull came over and started picking on the littlest friend. (poor kid is scared of dogs anyways). We ran Bull (that’s the pit bulls name) off and proceeded to the swing. Bull came back and we decided to just go back to the house after a few swings, we didn’t feel like messing with the dog.
After the Ms left I had to go lock up animals. I locked up the ducks and got over to the goats and realized that Bull was following me. I locked up the goats really fast (Bull doesn’t get along with the goats really well) and headed over to the chicken coop. While I was walking, Bull started nipping at my shoelaces, so I flicked him on the nose and said “no”. usually that does the trick and he’ll go home, but not this time. He just got mad and grabbed my shoe, squeezing my foot inside, and started pulling me around. Now I don’t know about you, but when a big huge monster dog bites my foot, I smack it on the nose. Well, this didn’t work, it just made him madder. So I made my way over to the gate at the garden so I could get inside the fence, kicked Bull in the head and disappeared in the tall grass. I snuck up to the house and that was all the fun that Bull could have with my foot that night.
A few days later Bull came over and was picking on Josiah, so I got onto him about it and he started barking, it was the meanest bark I had ever heard come from his mouth. So I looked at him and asked if that was supposed to scare me (if it was, he was doing a good job), then I started growling and ran towards him and he ran off with his tail between his legs. Bull doesn’t bother me anymore. Okay, enough of the dog.
Last night was our Christmas party at Riverwalk church (our apartment ministry), lots of kids and a few moms came. It was pretty fun. Dan and Andy played Christmas songs almost the whole time. Luke came to “help out”, I think he came more for Lana though. After it was over Luke and I cleaned up the leftover M and Ms.
I have all my Christmas shopping done, WHOOHOOO!! FIVE DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!! Okay, I think that’s all.
Btw, I went to the orthodontist this morning and he said I get my braces off in mid Feb!!

I dunno if i'd call bull a 'big huge monster dog', but I don't like him. He usually doesn't bother me, though, cuz, see, any time he's come after me, I've been about to go somewhere, so i just run to my truck... No dog is a match for the big red truck...
still, we need to do something about that dog...
I'm excited aout Christmas! Your present is almost ready, Ton'!
Ach, just reading this post makes me scared of that dog!!! :Z
Are you excited about getting braces???
And good grief, you could *only* dunk a nine or nine 1/2 ft. goal??? *roll eyes* quit bragging on your tallness!!! LOL! jk...
~Emy
Emy, my braces are coming OFF in feb. And YES I am excited!!
I wasn't "bragging". I was just...
anyways, I was about to do something about that dog but then he killed one of our chickens, so he got chained up.
OFF!!! oh ok... wow, I guess I should've noticed that you already had them, huh? Not to mention that there was another word there... :P ah well... and I was glad that I wasn't (rather, I thought I wasn't) the only one "our age" (though I *am* older than you, we are still somehwat close :P LOL) that hadn't gotten them yet but was going to (or might, because I *might*)
I don't think any of that made any sense. :P Ah, well, I am prone to do that... right? :P
It's about time that dog got chained up!
~Emy
It's not *too* late to get braces. I have an uncle that didn't get braces until he was already grown up and married(my aunt was a dental hygienist).
Amen about the dog!!
Well yeah, I know it's not too late... I, too, know adults that have gotten them... but thing is I don't really need them for most of my teeth, except that I have a weird bite... my top and bottom teeth meet and tis quite annoying... anyway, you prolly didn't want to know that... :P
~Emy
Yeah, I had a weird bite but my teeth were just plain ol' crooked too. Just for the record, getting braces doesn't hurt that bad. Getting them off is what hurts. They pretty much just rip them off with pliers.
Really? How long did you have them?
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Sir Tony, you just completely scared me out of EVER getting braces... EVER!!!!! Do they *really* RIP them off with PLIERS?????? and, uh, how do you know this if you haven't gotten them off yet?
~Emy
I will have had them for two years on Jan.14
They do not just rip them off. Sorry to scare you(not really, I did it on pupose). They drill the glue off, then pull off the braces. But they do really use pliers
I know this because this is my second time to have braces.
Aren't I special?
He's telling the truth again, Emma (that Tony, doesn't he EVER lie to us?)
Pit Bulls are evil!
Emy dear they don't really hurt. The mouth feels funny when they are taken off b/c the tention is gone. They do use pliers but it is the click that gets you not the actual cutting off of the brackets.
Remember dearie that I too have had braces and I am a girl.
I think I have all of my Christmas presents taken care of. Yea!!!
;D
My Christmas shopping is done too!
Which is good because I'm gone all day tommorow and then most of sunday.
Why do you enjoy scaring me, Tony?? You shouldn't take advantage of a niave, gullible, scarable, teasable girl like me!!
So he *wasn't* telling the truth, Lana.... and Tony, you've had them *twice*?? Wow..... and Lady, I didn't know you've had 'em... hmm.... perhaps I'm not especially observant of such things... or could it be I haven't known either of you very long? Well Lady I've known you for long but don't remember you from when we were younger... :P
~Emy
Tony most certainly WAS telling the truth!
(but giving the scarier truth, on purpose, b/c boys do that... I don't know why.)
I have all my presents gotten, too! And WRAPPED!!!! YEAH!
I had 'em quite young and not for long. So no wonder you don't rememebr.
Mine aren't wrapped and I too will be gone most of tomorrow and Sunday.
I wouldn't take advantage of someone as old as you if I had thought it through and considered the adverse effects it might have on ones health. I DON'T LIE! I just tease an awfull lot(nervous chuckle).
Lana, he *said* he hadn't told the truth!!! From his own words: "They do not just rip them off"... seeeeee????
And Tony.... goodness... um... maybe I am your elder, but you *did* take advantage of me... ah well... *sigh* EVERYONE teases me an "awful lot".... why is that??
~Emy~
I meant that they did not *just* rip them off. They drill first then they rip them off. I'll let someone else explain about the teasing.
oh, Emy, it was a simple case of putting the emphasis on the wrong word!!! TOLD YOU he told the truth!
ickkk!!!!
ok, fine, he told the truth... goodness, does everyone always have to team up against me all the time? Lana, what happened to "us girls sticking together"??? :P jk...
Thanks but no one ever WILL explain about the teasing... they never do.... :P
~Emy
Sticking with your gender only goes so far. Incidentally, why should you feel a particular need to stick together? You've got us guys way outnumbered.
BTW, Lana, I love you and I miss you.
I know we have you way outnumbered, but Lana *did* say that we'd stick together....
~Emy
well, and we will. *BUT* not when you say my bro lied... (due to your misunderstanding, not any malice) sorry, then I gotta stick up for the bro! Blood is thick, ya know...
I'll stick with my gender when someone's picking on it- errr- us. Or one of us. Don't worry, Emster- I haven't abandoned you!
And I'll work on comebacks for you, when necessary! BUT, I'm not in the mood, what with that comment on Luke's blog about sappy posts :^P (mischievious chuckle)
I love you too, Luke my love!
Okay, well I was just kidding... :P And I wasn't really saying he had lied, but I thought that's what *he* had said...
Anyway, I'm glad you haven't abandoned me, thanks... :D
MWAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!!!! :P (but don't get me wrong; I *like* the sappy posts, LOL)
MERRY CHRISTMAS, TONY!!!!!!!
Namarie,
Hannah
You need to post! Tis Christmas break. Do you not have time?
(that is to be read in the voice of the spirit of Christmas present)
I AM SICK!!! I can't write a post that's worth reading!
AMEN!!!
Lady, have you no mercy? Tis Christmastime.
(also in voice of the spirit of Christmas Present)
ooh CHRISTMAS CAROL????? funfunfun!!! Can we quote... just like, the whole play??? PLEAASEE??? (let's hope Nan doesn't read this! :P) ok, fine, just the spirit of Christmas Present???
"Get up, get up and know me better man! Look upon me, have you never seen the likes of me before?" ("Never, and I wish the pleasure had been indefintely postponed.") "Is your heart still unmoved?" ("I am too old. Go get some younger, more promising person.") "No, Ebenezer, you must listen. We spirits do not live only one day of the year, but 365. So is true of the Child born in Bethlehem. He does not live in man's heart only one day of the year, but all the days of the year! And you have chosen not to seek Him in your heart. Therefore, you shall seek Him with me. Come, witness the living Christmas, the day as it is in the souls and hearts of those who know our Lord Jesus well." :P ok, SORRY, I'll stop now... *ashamed, bashful grin*
The smart aleck in me begs to ask: You mean to say that you can write a post that's worth reading when you're well?
But I won't let him. I'm just nice like that.
The smart aleck in me doesn't have to beg to say anything:)
Obviously I can write a post worth reading if people are still going to my blog.
Your argument, then, unstated premises and all, is as follows (bear with me, I took Reasonings):
If people are still going to a blog, its writer can write posts worth reading.
People are still going to Tony's blog.
Therefore, Tony can write posts worth reading.
Valid. But is it sound? I think your first premise could be criticized in a variety of ways. If you wish, I can detail a few of them. But suffice it to say, I don't think Premise 1 holds water. Doesn't mean your conclusion is false; just means that the argument won't get you there.
So much for sticking with your gender;p
I think he means that since people are still visiting his blog, his posts must be worth reading... I'm sure you know that, but don't analyse everything to death for goodness sake! :P
Anyway, maybe his posts aren't worth reading, but other people visit, and therefore I come to talk to THEM.... :P LOL jk poor Tony... but the vids were at least interesting... LOL
~Emy
Sorry! I found out you were sick right before I read that you were sick. And as for the holiday. No school does that now mean time to post? I won't lie it doesn't usualy for me I was just looking for some kind of excuse. I really am sorry I didn't know you were sick. Please 'degive me every one. :-(
