This is the song I'm going to sing at the wedding(provided Luke approves of it). It's probably one of the best fitting songs I could do(short of writing one myself, but I ran out of time for that). PLUS, it's one of Lana's favorite Josh Turner songs. I hope I make her cry at her wedding, that'd be cool. In a weird sort of way.
Note: you probably want to turn off the music player first.

"Come lay with me, stay with me, soon I'll be gone
I will remember you all winter long"
That first line is the only objection that I could have. It implys that they weren't pure before he left. The guy in the song, that is.
And in the song could you insert "first" every where is says "next". That would be more accurate in this story.
I love the sound and all. Josh Turner has a cool voice.
Guess what? I am 15 and 7 months old.
Rebekah, I can understand your objections if you think that the 'speaker' wasn't already married to the girl, but the song doesn't really indicate that.
It's not a perfect fit, but it's a sweet song.... I like it.
Emma- HAPPY MONTHBIRTHDAY!
This month I will have my birthday. I will turn.... old.
Hehehee... thanks girl. :D
Maybe we should call it monthday or something. :P
I know your birthday is this month and you WILL be old!!! :P hehee...
The speaker is already married to the girl, provided Josh Turner is the speaker. If he wasn't the speaker, than I don't know.
I'm not old...
I know that. If you were old, I would be even older, and that would be depressing. :P
Ah, you'll be old soon enough. BTW, I was sad to turn nineteen, b/c I wasn't married or even courting yet, so I felt like an old maid.
I still won't be married when I turn twenty, but at least it's on the calendar :^D
Yup that was my only objection and you are right it doesn't mention either way.
I heard this on Ton' play list and liked it as soon as I heard it.
Lana what day is your birthday exactly?
Ooh! ooh!... let me see if I can remember. It's the 20-somethin'-eth, right??
Oh that's sad Lana... that you were sad, I mean, not that you're not married. 20 isn't old to get married. When I was 5 and getting ready to turn 6, I cried. I didn't like the number 6, and I loved the number 5, so I was really upset about it. I was a strange little kid... a deep one, too.
ah, you're exactly right, Emma- the twenty somethineth! good remembering!!
It is the twenty-ninth, if you want to get real specific :D
Yeah, Lady, it really is a sweet song, first time I heard it, I emailed Luke and told him to go listen to my new favorite!
hehehee...
Hey, random question (not really...?) what did you do with the ants? Poor ants.
~Nicole
He said don't ask!!!!!!! I don't think we want to know.
Yeah, you really don't want to know. I'd rather not tell, also. ;P
On my birthday this year, I'll be older than I would be if I was a year younger.
Hmm...
No, really?!?! :P My birthday comes first. nanana
Yeah, well, rub it in why don't ya. ;P
Okay....
Guess what? My birthday comes first. I will be 16 before you. haha! 10 days before you!!! nananah!! Those 10 days will not be good days for you. LOL
Rub, rub, rub....
Oh, you were kidding? :P
