Time for braces to say good-bye.

Hello everyone and welcome to Mountain Dew anonymous, for those that have abuse problems with Mountain Dew…. I think I’ll just stop there.

I don’t really have much to talk about, but I wanted to write a post. So, bear with me as I ramble a bit.
I GOT MY BRACES COMPLETELY OFF!!!!!! I am just a “little” bit excited.
It felt sooo good to finally get them off after two years of check-ups and adjustments and such. It also felt really good when Dr. Udouj told me teeth looked, and I quote, “beautiful”.
Now, whenever I brush my teeth, it seems so effortless, almost too easy, since I’ve had to brush around and under and over all of the brackets. Also, the first time I brushed my teeth after getting them off, they were literally “squeaky clean”. It was soooo cool!

On Thursday afternoon (Luke‘s B-day), Luke drove Lana, Brandon, and I up to Springdale to watch the Patriots play in the state tournament!! It was one of the best games I’ve ever watched. And, it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun if the patriots hadn’t won (the first game I mean, not the whole tournament )! Could somebody please let me know how they did yesterday!! I meant to call Daniel and ask him, but I forgot.

I can’t think of anything else that happened that is worth writing about, so, I guess I’ll stop now.

Oh, btw, the wedding is exactly three months away. Things are gonna start getting really crazy around here…

uhh... let me think. I think the girls lost one and won one and the Seniors lost one and won one yesterday... and today the Seniors lost, but.... the Juniors won the tournament!!!!!!!! At least, that's as far as I remember. I wasn't ever there. But I have connections... ^_^ lol
What's that about Mountain Dew?? You're confusing me again. :P

I kinda figured that the juniors would win.
It's still AWESOME THOUGH!!!!
Mountain Dew. uuuh, that's from a KJ-52 song. It's pretty funny... I mean, *I* like it. ;P

Anonymous said...

Yeah.... isn't it?
Oh, okay. LOL I don't like Mountain Dew. :P

Congrats!!!!!!!! I know how it feels!!! When I got mine off, I had a big party and ate everything I couldn't eat when I had them on. Now for a question I've asked every Udouj captive I know. So far the vote is unanimous: Do you like Dr. U or Dr. Henry better???

Pyrolord said...

Mountain Dew ROCKS!!!

I like the younger one better. Which one would he be?
They are both Dr. U to me.

Thad be Dr. Henry. And the vote is STILL unanimous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, Tony...
Emma told you the brief version. :P
Girls won one...and we were all excited so we cried. :P Then they lost, but played swonderful.
The Juniors....MERCYRULED CONWAY!!!! Ah, the wonderfulness of it! I love it...Course, that's what we expected. :P :)
The Seniors lost against Conway (but played them better than anyone else), and won against Saline County, who barely won against Faith. So, yes, enough said. Seniors placed 4th.... :(
K, I'll go since you prolly already knew all that... :)
And, many congrats on your braces! I'm getting them soon.

Well Hannah at that point I didn't know all the details. Not bad that Seniors placed 4th. How many diff. teams (like towns, not junior, senior, etc.) do you think were there? It was Conway that the Juniors won against??? You're kidding! hysterical!!! I gotta talk to the other Hannah... :P

Pyrolord said...

I knew the juniors beat Conway, but I didn't know it was mercyrule.
That's AWESOME!!!

I don't know how many teams there were this year. Two years ago there were nine junior teams, and then I think there were more than that the next year. But I'm not sure how many were there this year. I saw at least seven or eight teams, but that was towards the end of the first night, so, I don't know how many were there.

What's mercyrule?

Pyrolord said...

Mercyrule is when one team has such a huge lead that it seems that there is no way for the other team to win, so the clock keeps running for everything except timeouts in order for the game to be over as quickly as possible.

And no, that wasn't dictionary.com, that was just me. ;P

Oh how funny!!! I never knew there was such thing... is that to cause the losing team the least amount of shame as possible? LOL Kina sad, though, cause it WOULD be possible for the other team to pull ahead... :(

Luke Hobbs said...

Well, according to the rule, it has to be in the fourth quarter, and the team that's ahead has to be leading by thirty points. So there's not really any chance of a comeback at that point.

Pyrolord said...

I second what Luke said. ;P

Anonymous said...

Oh, okay. Thanks ya'll for putting up with me and explaining things. I find things very interesting. :P I like things. I like learning things.

Anonymous said...

Yeah the Mercyrule ain't exactly a dictionary.com word!!!!:P Well, it probably is cuz they have everything. In (only indoor) soccer they let the other team put all their subs in AND quit keeping score. But to Emmers, the sports world is whimsical and mysterious. You have much to learn, my young apprentice.

Anonymous said...

heheheee.... I suppose I do.

Pyrolord said...

Very whimsical and mysterious. ;P

Anonymous said...

Leave it to Meggy to describe sports like that. :P

Rock on! That makes me proud of our guys. ;K I sorta wanted to go to those games but alas I have not a sibling who plays. Next year I will probably be the one taking my sib to those games. You see I think my bro may play.

Anonymous said...

Well, she says she likes to learn, so we shall eventually teach her the dark world of sports!!! I vote for football first!!!! Well, she likes basketball if "like" is a proper term.

Anonymous said...

Not football. Basketball is ok but really only "our" team. Sports hurt my brain. :P The "care" has to be there, or I don't care. lol And that makes it hard to learn.

Pyrolord said...

No, not football. Football is boring. Basketball is fast paced the whole game.

Anonymous said...

Yeah Tony football is boring and I think you must learn how it works only by playing it even if it is only on a ps2.

Anonymous said...

Wow Tony, you're a guy and you think football is boring? cool!

Pyrolord said...

Yes, it's true, I think football is boring. I don't think I've ever even watched a whole game on T.V..
I kinda enjoy watching games in real life, but I can't stand watching it on T.V.
It's not that I don't understand it, because I do, it's just that I don't find it very enjoyable.
I'll watch a game with my dad if he wants me to, but I won't just sit down and watch it for my own pleasure.
Now basketball, that's a different story. ;P

Anonymous said...

AWESOME!!!! :P AND you like hot pink! :P

Pyrolord said...

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!! My dislike of football and liking of hot pink don't have anything to do with each other!
What are you even trying to say? ;P

Anonymous said...

Well, what I meant is that most guys like football and dislike pink. So they DO have something to do with each other. All I'm trying to say is that it's cool. Not that I'm against football or anything, but it's cool that you don't like it. :P Don't freak out!

Brandon's Girl said...

I passionately dislike football and pink (most of the time).

Hannah, did you mean to say swonderful? And, if you did, would that mean you've seen Funny Face?!!! Cause that would be pretty stinkin awesome! (because Audrey Hepburn is pretty stinkin awesome... in an elegant way)

YOU PEOPLE ARE CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tony, you don't like football???????????????????????????????????????????????? I thought you like the Razorbacks and Darren McFadden (may he live forever)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Emy it is NOT cool that he doesn't like it, I only have ONE friend who does and nothing shows any signs of getting better:( Man, now you're ALL poor and deprived children!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pyrolord said...

I *do* like the Razorbacks and Darren McFadden. I just don't particularly like football. Kinda sad, isn't it. ;P
